Clarification

When I was gone this past weekend, I missed JOEY & Parker (equally). Somehow I inadvertently left out the fact that I missed my favorite husband in my post below. I am extremely sorry for any hurt feelings or confusion this has cause to my readers. :)

We had pizza for lunch today. I don't know what Parker enjoyed more; eating the pizza or making a mess!

Moms Can Have Fun Too

I made a trip to Nashville this weekend, for a mommy only playdate. Every once in a while mommy needs a night out too! (But I was glad to come home and see Parker)

Timeout Doesn't Stop For Sunburn

The timeout corner rarely takes a sick day.

Parker wore sunscreen on his playdate, but I guess he didn't wear enough. He went to bed with his first sunburn Tuesday night, and woke up Wednesday morning with 2 blisters, 1 on each cheek :( I took him to the doctor just to make sure it wasn't too serious. It wasn't, thank goodness, but we're keeping lots of aloe and TLC handy.

We learned rub on sunblock is better than spray and from now on we will reapply after 30 minutes...not matter what the back of the bottle says. He has been a very big, strong boy today.

Latest Playdate

Parker met his future wife on Tuesday. We had a playdate at the park with Emma, and her mom Brandy.







Parker took a little bit to warm to up her, but he ended up giving into temptation...he LOVES girls! (And Emma loved him)







My favorite part of the day was when they were chasing bubbles...

Parker's Granny D and PaNut came and saw their favorite boy this past weekend. Before they left, PaNut left some $ for Parker. (I may or may not have hinted that Parker needed new shoes) Here are his new kicks.
